Status Updates

After a good year of events and excitement, I thought I would give an accounting of our current state of affairs--in a Facebook-like format.

Marianne
-is content with teaching her Beehives, and most especially glad to no longer be working on the newsletter for YW!
-is trying again to grow a plant, courtesy of Amy's Christmas gift (thank you, btw).
-strangely missed winter this year...but Eric says that we might have snow in a month.
-is keeping a pet spider underneath her downstairs bathroom sink (he has been named Frank).
-did not buy a coat this year, or new gloves or a scarf.
-hasn't finished a book in weeks.
-has trouble blogging without pictures.
-doesn't know what her new year resolutions will be.
-wants to play craft games all the time.
-wishes for a more constructive management of her time and resources. (Ah! Resolution!)
-still needs to mail Cheesie's Christmas gift, so she can post pictures of her efforts! (and so Emily is not left bereft... )
-'s hair refuses to get dirty-7 days after washing, and it still doesn't have enough oil/grease to compensate for a hair color job!

Eric
-wants to look for a job without holiday work.
-wants to finish school sometime in the foreseeable future.
-didn't become Scrooge this year (despite all the Christmas music he listened to).
-still loves Marianne. (yep, sorry girls :)
-loves being Uncle E-wic.
-got everything he wanted for Christmas, plus maybe more.
-needs another hair cut... again.
-is almost healed from his fall with Sqwishy. (Thank you heat-bands!)
-really really didn't want to go to work today.

Rather superficial, but if you were planning on calling, to see how we are, this still gives you a lot more information than we would have shared over the phone!

  1. So, in order not to fry my hair when I get it colored, I usually wait until my hair is really greasy, and it acts as a buffer against the harsh-right-out-of-the-box color.... and when my hair refuses to get dirty :( No hair color for me for weeks.
