Dear Family and Friends,
Our recent year has taken us far from where we were before. Late January saw us driving across country to our new home in Cary, North Carolina. We have settled in, and are enjoying our new location.
Eric was able to transfer with his job to the Raleigh area, and currently manages ‘The Shack’ at the Triangle Town Center mall in North Raleigh. Marianne found work within a month of the move, thanks to our Heavenly Father, and is working as a Registrar/Front Office Personnel for an Urgent Care facility in Cary. She by far has the better commute, a 6 min drive vs Eric’s 30 min drive. Neither is stressful though, as the traffic here is nothing to what we have experienced.
Our ward has been welcoming, and we received callings within weeks of arrival. Eric works with the 11 year old scouts, and Marianne teaches the 12-13 year old Young Women Beehives. We have both enjoyed our experiences with the youth in this ward.
We are living close to Eric’s parents and Marianne’s sister and her family. We are so happy to be so close to both of them. We haven’t seen much of either during our marriage until recently. We have enjoyed the strengthened relationships.
Our life has settled into a predictable cycle of work and sleep, which is a nice pace. We know it won’t stay this easy going for long, but we are content with the current state of being. Our loving Heavenly Father has so enriched our lives, and the evidence of His love for us we see everywhere. We wish all a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from our heart to yours,
