
For most, Thanksgiving is a time of tradition. Holidays typically confine activities within the realm of the known/previously experienced. For us, this was true in many cases. We had my mother's Fruit Salad ---see ingredients waiting above.... (of which there is too much leftovers)

The traditional manly display of rolling around in the mud with an elliptical pigskin aka 'the turkey bowl' (I presume, having never experienced one before since I've always had to work on Thanksgiving) and then of course the family gathering (this time with Eric's parents, which was nice) and turkey.
