Summer Vacation

    Watching the sun rise on the Atlantic Ocean coast line was so beautiful, and we loved being so close to the ocean. Our hotel was maybe 200 yards from the coast line, and we loved not having to drive to the beach every day, or fight with parking, or even have to 'plan' on going to the beach. We woke up, and were already there.

    There is nothing like an early morning photo shoot to end a great vacation-- We did indeed wake up bright and early to catch the sunrise at 6:21 am! Eric doesn't think that early mornings have a place in vacations... but he comes with us anyway :)

     One of the things that we enjoyed so much with our vacation was playing with the sand. Each day we devoted at least a few hours to just that. Sand men, sculpted faces, endless castles with moats, ditches to fortify against the incoming tide, aquariums to catch sea creatures, mud piles, mud fights, we enjoyed it all.    And of course we enjoyed spending time together--for what else could one wish for on vacation?
